a new room

with our impending house move i am getting super excited about elodie's new bedroom. i think because the move has come exactly when she is transitioning into a fully fledged little girl it is a lovely time to give her a new bedroom and hand some of her baby possessions over to her soon to be new sibling.

so far i have ordered a soft grey vintage wardrobe and a very muted pink vintage chest of drawers from ebay, we have this bed in white and these are the prints I am coveting for the walls:

i'm thinking paper pom poms on the ceiling and pops of colour from a painted wooden step up, bookshelves and a wooden cot for her dolls and cuddly toys. i can't wait to update you as to how her room looks in reality in a few weeks time, although i am sure it will be a work in progress with lots of tweaks and changes along the way.
